System Requirements
The DMS Data Processing Tools require Microsoft Excel. Excel & Office versions from 2000 to 2003 inclusive are supported, on Microsoft Windows XP only.
Current Version
The current version of the utilities is 4.4. This version includes a significant reduction in the recalculation times of summary sheets and correct operation with real-time timestamps
Installation Instructions
- Download and unzip the compressed file: dmsutilities.zip
- Run the executable file. This automates copying all the necessary files to the installation directory (C:\Cambustion\DmsUtilities). This directory is created if it does not already exist.
- Start Excel and load the new add-in into Excel by selecting Tools→AddIns. Excel may request removal of the previous DmsUtilities addin link. Accept this. Then browse to the new installation directory (C:\Cambustion\DmsUtilities), and select the new DmsUtilities.xla addin, check "DMS Utilities" in the add-in list and hit OK.
- The DMS Utilities toolbar should now appear in Excel. Drag it onto your toolbar area and locate it in a suitable position.
- Finally, make sure that there is a printer installed. Some of the page layout functions will not work correctly without an installed printer.
