Fast Exhaust Gas Analysers

HFR500 The Cambustion HFR500 offers two-channel measurement of Total Hydrocarbon by the industry-standard flame ionisation detection (FID) method. A time response as fast as 0.7ms (T10-90) is possible. This is widely used for cold start calibration work and in-cylinder measurement.


CLD500 The two-channel CLD500 measures NO with T10-90 of 2ms by chemiluminescence detection. Optional NOx convertors are available to measure NO and NO2, used particularly in Diesel applications.


NDIR500 The NDIR500 provides two-channel simultaneous measurements of both CO and CO2 (4 data channels). This allows transient EGR measurement, fast AFR estimation and catalyst efficiency measurement with a time response of 8ms.


In-cylinder Sampling Valve

CSV500 The CSV500 is an in-cylinder sampling valve system which can be combined with Cambustion Fast Gas Analysers to allow cycle by cycle measurement of cylinder contents.
This technique is particularly useful for evaluating in-cylinder residuals, for example when studying the effects of variable valve timing.


SPR100 Spark Plug Resistance Monitor

SPR100 The Cambustion SPR100 allows continuous monitoring of spark plug insulation integrity for fouling studies and calibration applications.


Fast Gas Analysers

HFR400 atmospheric fast fidThe HFR400 is a fast hydrocarbon analyser for applications where the sample pressure is not fluctuating, for example in studies of the dispersion of HC tracer gas from point releases or for wind tunnel research.


Particulate & Aerosol Measurement

DMS500 The DMS500 MkII builds on the success of the DMS500 and continues to offer the fastest time response available for real-time measurement of the particulate size spectrum from 5nm to 1000nm at a rate of 10 samples/second and T10-90% of 200ms. The MkII version adds improved dilution flexibility and is three times more sensitive, further enhancing the system's suitability for low concentration applications. The unrivalled time response, size range (with 5nm to 2500nm option) and built-in two stage dilution of the DMS500 MkII make it ideal for applications from diesel emissions development and engine calibration to ambient environmental measurement and pharmaceutical delivery system development.


DMS50The DMS50 offers real time measurement of particle size and concentration from 5nm to 560nm. In a compact, rack mounting enclosure with integral sample pump, it is ideal for laboratory applications, integration in engine test cell installations, and for mobile applications (12 V operation possible).


Smoking Cycle SimulatorThe Smoking Cycle Simulator accessory for the DMS500 offers real time measurement of particle size distribution in a tobacco aerosol, via an actively controlled Constant Volume Sampling System.


Dual Sampling AccessoryThe Dual Sampling Accessory for the DMS500 or DMS50 allows users to automatically switch between two sample locations for particulate measurement. Applications include DPF efficiency monitoring, crank case vent studies etc.


Diesel Particulate Generator

DPG The Cambustion DPG is a complete Diesel Particulate Filter testing system, which uses controlled combustion of Diesel fuel to produce a stable soot load rate. The DPG can load and regenerate a DPF without requiring an engine.
