The Cambustion CSV500 is a complete solution to allow extraction of gas from inside the cylinder of a firing engine. The system permits full computerised control of valve actuation based on timing information from a crank angle encoder. The technique can be used with all Cambustion fast gas analysers to allow in-cylinder measurements over a wider speed range than was previously possible, while minimising the volume of gas extracted.
